Supplier Domain

Suppliers are the operators of tours and experiences. Ultimately we are purchasing Products from Suppliers via Source systems and making these Products available to our Partners through our API and white-label sites. The Supplier is the organisation from which we expect to be invoiced for the supply of a Product.

The following tables exist in the supplier domain:

• Supplier - The primary table for this domain, containing contact information for the supplier and mapping a supplier to its Source.

• SupplierFinance - (to be refactored to EntityCommission) - This is a one-to-one mapping on Supplier.id and contains additional information that may be commercially sensitive. Access to this data is subject to additional internal scrutiny and security.

• SupplierCommission - The commission that the company receives when selling products from this supplier. Commissions can vary over time and seasons and so it is important to consider the start and end dates for any record in this table.

• SupplierSurvey - Holds information we directly requested from Suppliers. This table is legacy but retained for the data it contains
